2026 World Cup: An All-Round Success

The 2026 World Cup is over. Spain is still celebrating a well-deserved victory, having conceded a single goal. It was remarkable. It gave observers hope that Argentina would not cross the goal line to defeat Spain. The winner lived up to that expectation. Only the coach and his players could say how they perfected such a tight defense that ensured their victory. Argentina left the pitch broken, leaving FIFA accusers that the team's earlier defeat of Egypt was fixed, something to think about.
Egypt was a good team but it lost to a better side. It's coach thought it was fit to blame FIFA for his team's loss. Some people wrongly believed in the coach's words and politicized soccer. England's loss to Argentina the same way as Egypt would have convinced doubting Thomases. However, it seemed the world needed something more concrete, the Argentina's loss to Spain.
Had Argentina won the the cup against Spain, it would have been difficult to erase the Egypt's coach allegation of match fixing and favoring of a particular team. The world saw Messi crying like a baby for losing to Spain. It showed that any talk about match fixing was a folly at its best. It shows how a damaging it is for anyone to rush to judgment like a drunkard without consideration for its fallout and the danger of an uncontrolled tongue.
Although, Argentina lost to Spain, the fact remains that Messi's standard of play remains unscathed. It remains indelible that he took his team to an unexpected victory against Egypt from behind after falling 2.0 down. Messi is strong. He knows what he does with the ball He did not come back against Egypt alone, he repeated it against England. The English team did not quickly understand what happened playing against what seemed like a machine team. And still relying on the Egypt's coach earlier allegation, words went viral Messi was favored by FIFA and the result was that no team could defeat Argentina's Messi.
It is natural and official for the referee to decide the rule of the game. Sending off a player for a foul after a foul resulting in a red card is not new. It happened to England in the match against Argentina and it also happened to Argentina in the final against Spain. No one would say because an Argentina player was sent out of play reducing the team's number to ten that the match was fixed and enabled Spain's victorious goal. Fernandez tackled Lorenzo on the right flank and stopped him from foraying into the 18- yards box prior to his red card and ousting, but the goal was scored from the left flank angle. We just have to admit Spain was superior to Argentina irrespective of Messi's presence at the Argentina's side. Spain's defense was too hard for Argentina. FIFA did an excellent job hosting the tourney at three different countries and multiple venues. No human organization can be perfect. It isn't that there was no error or mistake as it would be expected in every human organization, but there was nothing like a deliberate attempt from any referee helping any team into victory. The 2026 FIFA World Cup tournament was an all-round success! So, spectators saw the best of soccer entertainment in display iat various stadiums in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Watching matches at the stadiums or on your television and phones became part of the daily routine. one will not easily forget the traffic gridlocks on match days and the public announcement banners asking motorists to have alternatives plans to avoid the pain.
Meaning that just as the World Cup brought joy and laughter, it also had its discomfort to from traffic logjams, the loss of matches by favorite teams. the end is that the period represented the exact meaning of life depicting sweetness and sorrow. May the actors live long to continue to entertain, and the spectators the nerve to accept games' outcomes without unjustifiable politicization.
