After Hebdo, Paris witnesses another slaughter

. About 150 innocent people are believed killed in different parts of Paris on Friday; some in a concert, some in restaurants and some others in train stations, in a highly coordinated attack. It is the second time the beautiful city witnesses such a highly coordinated attack following the last attack on the editors of a humorous magazine, Charlie Hebdo. People all over the are wondering about how terrorists have been able to attack in several areas of Paris simultaneously.
If terrorists' reason for the first attack was what they said was Charlie Hebdo's caricature of Prophet Muhammed in its publications, the last Friday's attack was said to have been traced to France's involvement in air war against the ISIS. And the ISIS has already accepted responsibility for the attack on Paris, coming two weeks after a Russian commercial jet was downed for the same reason.
The French president, Francois Hollande, said the attack on Paris is an act of war. He has vowed a brutal retaliation. All major countries in Europe have announced beefing of security. Major western countries have condemned the attacks on Paris. But observers have pointed out that other countries that are involved in the war in Syria against the ISIS should note the turn of events.
The first attack over the bombing of the ISIS positions was the downing of a Russian commercial plane. Now, it is a ground attack on several points in Paris. The question on observers' lips is where next will the ISIS strike in revenge of bombing of its positions in Syria. People want to go out to concert, movie theaters, restaurants and travel to and from work though train stations, without the fear of losing their lives. But with what happened in the air to the Russian aircraft and in several locations in Paris, the fear that lives are no longer save is real than imagined.
In most offices in New York City on Friday, many workers who normally work long hours immediately packed their bags and headed home, after the news of the attacks on Paris. Many people think that it is unbelievable that attacks of the magnitude that has happened in Paris is possible, and they feel disillusioned that because it has happened in Paris, it is possible to happen anywhere. People have started questioning the rationale behind ceaseless wars. Some are saying that it is the innocent people who pay with their lives for war policies, while the leaders who frame and execute the policies are untouched.
Obviously, no one wants to go to a restaurant for food and not return home alive. no one wants to go to a concert and not return home alive. No one wants to travel the subway and not return home alive. You go to a restaurant for food, because you are hungry and not to become a victim of hot lead from a terrorist's gun. Happy people go to concert and not to put their families in the agony of unexpected loss. When you go to work, you go out seeking to earn income to take care of your family, and not to put the family in a sudden pain of loss.
People are imagining the number of homes and families that may have been affected by the loss of the Russian aircraft in the air, and now the attacks on Paris. There is the mind numbing of thinking of where and who may be the next and that no one can claim to be safe, as no one is certain where the ISIS will strike next. People are wary of what the ISIS has shown as its capability to strike with serious collateral damage.
