End of the road for Trump?

Have the Democrats finally cornered President Donald Trump? It is a question on the lips of everyone hearing Trump's announcement that he may be arrested Tuesday for a criminal charge. He faces about 15 investigations aside from the case in Manhattan over an alleged hush payment. The case has dragged on for years, and If indicted will be the end of the road for him, politically.
Many Republicans say as a presidential candidate, arresting an opponent of a sitting president is political. This development recalls all efforts by Democrats to discredit the former president since his victory against Hillary Clinton in 2016. However, Elon Musk says an arrest of Trump will lead to a landslide victory for him in the 2024 elections.
Other observers are not as optimistic as Musk. They view the Democrat's Manhattan attorney's continued investigation of Trump as political and part of a grand plan to stop Trump. They want him jailed so he cannot challenge the incumbent president, whose lackluster performance is incomparable to Trump's time in office.
America did not have an annoying border problem serving Fentanyl that has sent uncountable American children to the grave. The price of gas at the pump was always low during his presidency. There was no
pocket-tearing inflation. People made budgets and stuck to them because the planning was accessible without double-digit inflation.
It is no surprise that Trump is currently leading the pack of the Republican Party candidates. So, naturally, he poses an insurmountable challenge to the power that be.
