Goodluck Assures Nigerians of Missing Girls
5 May 2014 By Abi Giwa

President Goodluck Jonathan has assured Nigerians efforts are being made over the plight of missing girls forcibly taken away by terrorists in Chibok, Nigeria.
The president calls on the parents of the girls and others to cooperate in the effort being made by government to locate the girls. He gives assurances the girls will be located, though the government lacks knowledge where the girls have been taken.
One of the problems that have surfaced in the effort to coordinate effort on the missing girls is knowing their exact number. Some have put their number at 160 and others say 234. Some say 14 have escaped from their captors and others say 50 have escaped.
Observers think it is disgusting that law enforcement agents in the country have not been able to coordinate information emanating from the girls' disappearance for verification, almost two weeks after the dastard terror act.
