Kobe Bryant and the pain of death

As humans, if we have a choice, no one will die. The pain from losing loved ones surpasses the pain from any other life's experiences. This has been proved again by outpouring of grief, when the news of Kobe Bryant and eight others unfortunate passage, in a chopper's crash at Calabasas in California on Sunday.
The pain becomes harder learning that Bryant's daughter, Ghianni, was among the dead. The experience immediately recalls John Donne's experience about the loss of his wife and his poem "Death Be Not Proud."
Imagine how America has been enveloped in grief. Dying is part of the human life's Constitution. But should dying at a young age and in such a tragic circumstance be part of the bargain?
