Powerball Winner and Hubby Splits

This is more like a case about what a life of struggle has joined together, sudden lottery win has put asunder. But certainly not the case.
Isn't it the conclusion one will have for a news report about the recent $758 million Powerball winner, who has reportedly splits from partner of 15 years?
According to the Daily Mail, the female Powerball winner is quoted as saying "I am moving on to a better life." And that the hubby is not worried and says "I hope she enjoys all the money!
One unanswered question or a question in need of an answer is about the state of the couple's relationship before the woman's unexpected jackpot.
However, the report says that the two has never been married, with the man, Richard Lord, volunteering information, that he has never proposed to her.
But their split occurred before the the jackpot, and the woman, Mavis Wanczyk, spoke prophetically, "I am moving on to a better life."
Wanczyk had two adult children. And Lord had an earlier divorce, and had barely enough after the divorce. The one mistake by Lord, according to the report, was his decision against marrying Mavis. If he had married her, he could be $380 million better off today.
