Teacher on Suspension for 30 Pupils' Pregnancies?

About 30 pupils have been found impregnated at a single school at Kuruman in South Africa's Northern Cape education district.
One teacher, linked to three of the pregnancies, has reportedly been suspended.
Possibility that the suspended teacher or other teachers, yet to be uncovered, may have been having unlimited romps with many of the girls, cannot be ruled out.
According to News24, Geoffrey van der Merwe for the province's education department said the affected teacher has been suspended while investigation continues.
Van der Merwe is quoted as saying assuring the public that everything will be done to get to the root of the indiscipline and that due process will be followed to ensure disciplinary actions are meted out to whoever is found to be the culprit.
Although, the report said that Van der Merwe did not confirm the number of the pupils affected by the widespread pregnancies, but a radio station, saFM scooped on Wednesday that about 30 girls were affected and that three of the pregnancies have been linked to the suspected teacher.
Curious observers can smell a rat here. They ask whether a culprit has not already been found when 30 pupils are found pregnant around the same time and three of the pregnancies linked to a single teacher. They say all that is required is to establish whether the same teacher linked to the three pregnancies is also the culprit in other pregnancy cases.
Of course, is said that if that single teacher on suspension is not responsible for the entire 30 pregnancies, it will mean that there are other male teachers, who need to be questioned.
