Hundreds of people are reportedly heading towards the United States from Guatemala and Honduras, hoping to enjoy the anticipated immigration overhaul by the coming Joseph Biden administration. Observers are saying that it is possible that the caravan of people may be arriving on Tuesday to be part of the inauguration ceremony of the new president.
Some people are heard actually joking that the new caravan of people may have been invited to join the presidential inauguration! They are saying the new mood in the country is about convincing the world that the country is embracing diversity in a way it has never before known to allow diversity.
"Don't mind those jokers," someone said in a reaction. "How should anyone in his right senses think that a caravan of illegal immigrants would be invited to join the inauguration. These people may not have passed Mexico, where they may likely be accosted by the Mexican law enforcement based on an agreement Mexico has with the the U.S."
"The president elect has reportedly discussed with the Mexican president. You don't know what they may have discussed. The president elect has said that his immigration policy will be the opposite of that of his predecessor. It means that the caravan would be processed into the country. There is also information that the new administration will not separate parents from their children."
