Acrobats Hang and Fall

About 1000 spectators watch with horror as entertaining acrobats hang like chandeliers when a platform falls at Ringing Barnum on Sunday in Providence, Rhodes Island.
Spectators among who were children could hardly believe the horror before their eyes as real with lights out and medics moved in. Many among the spectators thought that the accidental hanging was part of the acrobatic acts, but were shocked when the acrobats suddenly fell on the canvas. "It happened very quickly" an eye witness said.
"They are in critical condition, but they are expected to survive and not a life threatening injury,"
