Biden picks Garland as Attorney General

Merrick Garland has been appointed as the next administration's attorney general. President Elect Joseph Biden announced in a statement on Thursday. Garland was appointed to be judge of the Supreme Court during Barack Obama's administration, but he did not not make it because Mitch McConnell refused the senate confirmation hearing.
Garland's appointment seems a confirmation of observers' views that Biden's administration will a continuation of Obama's administration. And that has made people to begin to search their heads about what the gains they had from the administration in which Biden was vice-president, and how Biden's new administration would affect their lots.
Already, people are saying there don't seem to be reconciliation in Biden's words and the absence of readiness to unite the country after Wednesday's crisis at the capitol. Biden blamed President Donald Trump for what happened on Wednesday at the capitol and criticized the former attorney general in Trump's administration as Trump's attorneys instead of being the people's attorneys.
Ken Starr specifically said on a Fox News interview that Biden has failed to help healing of the wound. Some other observers are quick to point out the weakness in Biden's statement as an affront against a man like Williams Barr, who have continued to speak the truth to Trump, and Barr did what was right as an attorney general for not politicizing the FBI's investigation of Hunter Biden alleged business deals during the last election debates. Again, many people are discussing whether it is necessary at all at this time for Biden to play the race card, or to continue to play the race card if he is indeed seeking to heal the country.
The development also rekindled the way that Barr handled the Democrats determination to disgrace President Trump from office with the Robert Muller's Russian election meddling investigation and an impeachment, and how he he ensured the words of the constitution prevailed over political pontification. It equally reminded observers of the role that James Comey, former FBI director, played during the election in which Trump defeated Hillary Clinton. It also reminded observers about how Williams Session left office in disagreement with Trump over issues that showed Session was not ready to serve the person of the president but the Constitution.
Many observers are saying that Biden needs to realize he is coming to lead a nation that is politically fractured, coming from how Trump's campaign was spied while waiting to assume office, to the allegations of the Russian collusion, and the last election issues that are still fresh, and that he needs to use words carefully as some of his supporters are saying that words matter in reference to President Trump.
People are calling for unity. And they expect heir leaders to demonstrate the need for unity in the words they use. Many democrats too are already talking about the need to bridge the political divide in the country.
