Boko-Haram Kidnaps Cameroon Vice PM's Wife

The wife of Cameroon's vice-prime minister was kidnapped from her home in Kolofata on Sunday, after a gun raid by Boko- Haram, Nigeria's Punch reported. The vice- prime minister, Amadou Ali, is safe under police protection in a neighboring town. About three people reportedly lost their lives in the attack.
Cameron's commander for Third Inter Army Military, Colonel Felix Nji Formekong, described the situation in Kotofata as critical with a clash between Boko-Haram militants and Cameroon's forces. The Sunday attack on Kotofata was the militants fourth attack on Cameroon in four days.
The attacks came on the heel of Friday sentencing of 22 Boko-Haram militants held in Maroua since March to various terms of imprisonment from 10-20 years.
