Brazil and Colombia in Quarter Final

Colombia defeated Uruguay 2-0 in a second group of 16 matches played on Saturday. James Rodriguez - in number 10 jersey - scored the two goals; one from a volley shot outside the 18 yard box and the second from a melee inside the box. Like Brazil, Colombia has moved into quarter final and will play against Brazil.

Brazil had earlier defeated Chile in penalty shoot out 3-2, despite the referee's denial of Brazilians of what seemed like a goal in the 54th minutes of the game played on Saturday. Brazil zoomed into the quarter final.
The first 90 minutes game and extra time ended 1-1 draw.
Brazil scored its first goal in the 17th minute of the game and Chile equalized in the 31st minute. The Brazilians disallowed the denial of goal from demoralizing them, manifested hunger for goal just like their Chilean counterpart.
It was a miracle that the Brazilians overcame the Chileans through penalty kicks, because both teams played excellent soccer; both recorded misses, but at end a reward for denied goal seemed to have found Brazil during the penalty shoot outs.
The first encounter in the round of 16. Both team display the best of soccer artistry; using space, speed, control, a display of perfect entertainment, grit to grit and skill to skill in effort to outdo each other.
