El Chapo, the most wanted Mexican drug lord has been captured and he is safe in the Mexican government's custody, President Felipe Calderon of Mexico has announced. Felipe also tweeted that
the mission to arrest the most dangerous man who escaped from a Mexico prison sometime ago been accomplished.
News reports say th that the wanted drug lord was rounded up by a crack team of Mexican law enforcement agents early on Friday morning. About five of his members who were his body guards were killed and a Mexican police officer injured.
However, it is believed that the capture of the drug lordmay not mean an end to drug business, but only a fall of one of the dangerous drug lords. And that as soon as that arrest was made, a new leader would probably be stepping into his shoes.
