Garland and Hur's Act Saves Biden from Trial

America has two sets of prosecutors. Some will hand down 35 or 40 plus indictments on a single case, depending on the accused's personality. Others will not give any indictment because the subject of the investigation is old and senile, and based on their judgment, the jury will not convict. A prosecutor investigated and concluded whether to charge or not. How would a man be found to have recklessly committed the chargeable offense when he was not senile and refused a charge for senility? And the accused is firing back at the prosecutor as dangerous and inconsiderate.
Merrick Garland, the attorney general, and Robert Hur, the prosecutor, have questions to answer. The first is for Garland. Did you intend to investigate and prosecute President Biden, or did you decide to investigate him because you want to portray Trump's trial as non-political?
Observers thought Garland faced a difficult situation when he allowed his office to pursue Trump over classified papers; unknown Biden also had the same documents scattered in several locations. How could he pursue the former president and not do the same for the incumbent? The consequence of the development was Hur's appointment to investigate Biden. Many observers rightly said Garland attempted to appease the public. The bombshell is Hur's end product. Wasn't he aware the president had committed the wrong as a vice president, and he was not so old and senile then?
The whitewash investigation has deepened observers' disbelief about the Department of Justice's wrong direction. The president and his supporters say Hur is a liar. They say the president is not senile. Republicans say if Hur says the president is senile, how could he be president of the most powerful country? Some began to call for the president's removal for incapacitation.
However, Garland and Hur's act seems an embarrassment to the White House. It is not so for curious people. They call it a conspiracy to give the president an undue pass. It is proof of the weaponization of the Justice Department. Americans are no longer equal before the law. Some are equal than others. Just this past week, another good example presented itself, showing the erosion of the rule.
Nancy Pelosi tore the State of the Union papers read by Trump. She walked away without any reprimand. Yet a father of the gold service man was arrested for shouting the name of the gate where his son and other service members died in Afghanistan. Other Congress members shouted obscenity against Biden's SOTU, like the father of the Gold Service Man. They were left untouched.
But the most heinous is Garland and Hur's act of giving Biden a pass. It bastardizes the rule of law, destroying the citadel on which Democracy stands. Many Americans wonder what is happening to their country. They are helpless, or else Garland would not continue as their AG. It is no surprise that Biden's allies in Congress wanted Hur torn apart. The plea that the office of the prosecutor is independent of the DOJ is lame.
Garland is serving at Biden's pleasure, having overstayed the people's welcome. Judge Cannon denied Trump's argument that he could keep classified documents and that his defense was better for trial. Why didn't Garland and Hur make Biden defend himself at trial? It is incredible that Hur says politics played no part in his report. Curious observers say the senile recourse was an effort to save Biden from prosecution, but it only backfired.
