As people in the United States, especially in New York City, await the dropping of the ball at the Times Square to herald the New year, and many people in the Churches, eateries and liquor centers, we wish our readers happy new year.
We know that the new year has already been heralded in many parts of the world like the far East, Africa and Europe.
The first happy new year greetings came from my wife in Nigeria about five hours to the arrival of the New Year in the new world. And then another greeting from Tunde Omobuwa and Tim, all from Nigeria.
