Trinidad's opposition leader, Kamla Persad Bissessar, has called on the people of Trinidad and Tobago to pray for the return of kidnapped women and girls, Trinidad Express newspapers reported on Sunday. According to the report, Persad-Bissessar made the call on the observance of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women on Friday.
“It is an untenable situation for any family to have to live with the constant anguish and agony of not knowing what has happened to their loved ones,” she was quoted.
