Life As Adventure Without Certainties

No one wants to die before his or her days. Unfortunately, no one is even aware of the day that has been assigned to begin a journey to the other side of the world.
"We are here like as on a darkling plain, with apologies to Matthew Arnold, author of Dover Beach.
And we lack choice on what comes our ways, success or failure The only choice we have is to make efforts to have a choice, and whatever forces themselves on our ways will depend on our abilities to defend or protect ourselves, and inability to protect or defend ourselves will mean surrendering to fate.
Imagine those unfortunate residents of the tower house in London, caught in a burning house enveloped by fire.
Did they know they would be in that situation anytime in their lives? Some escaped the inferno, others perished in it. We heard of a mother's choice to throw down her baby from one of the high up. The baby landed safely. We heard of a man who has diabetes and has been declared missing.
Some may have celebrated getting apartments in the tower, unaware of what fate has in store for them. When you leave your village or country to a developed country, you do that to improve your life in what is today termed to better our lives. When you are able to put money together to move into an apartment, it is seen as being on a ladder on the way up. There have been case of people, who after they bought their own homes, they ended up getting burnt in the same homes.
On these human journeys, some have achieved their objectives, others have failed. Some live up to old age, some get caught down at their primes. Some live well without sicknesses burdening their lives, some live tending to sicknesses and getting killed by sicknesses they never thought they way.
Many people in their quest for breakthroughs have crossed through but have ended up in the Mediterranean dead. Yet, some have crossed successfully through the same route and are living happily in the respective countries of their choice in Europe. Some have crossed through Columbia to Mexico into the United States. Some have of them successfully acquired papers to continue living in the U.S., while some who have not acquired papers are getting deported, and some unfortunately in cuffs.

Reading in one of Nigerian newspapers online (Naij.com) that many Nigerian graduates have resorted to working as motor bike riders, because of lack of employment opportunities for them as graduates, the quickest reaction is that not only in Nigeria are graduates working odd jobs. It is part of human adventures on earth. Many graduates do odd jobs in the U..S., because of lack of jobs in their fields of training. It is one the developments that have made life's adventure more awesome. man must eat and pay bills.
Without the need for money to meet essential needs and pay bills, no one will work. The life's adventure requires that people get engaged in any form to earn money!
There is no work that should make anyone ashamed or regret. What is important is never to get tied down forever, doing what you don't like or hate to do. Be on top of the situation. Don't sink or die. Of course, those who die in the adventure are mourned, because it is the end of everything.
In this adventure, believe that not everyone will like what you are doing, and that some people will do everything to drag you down. But never give up. Believe in yourself as taught by philosophers, and repeated by good people like Daisy Bartolata on the Facebook. The reason most people flee less developed countries is to better their lives an live in better environments. Some people made it out and live to tell their stories, and there those who are no so fortunate.
