New York: Strange Demonstration of Evil on Brooklyn Bridge
July 15 2020 By Abiodun Giwa
Brawl broke out on Wednesday on Brooklyn Bridge in New York between protesters demanding defunding of police and a counter protest group seeking to restore peace. The police had a rare duty of restoring order.
A recorded video showed some of the defund police protesters on the upper level of the bridge, and how one of them raised up a stick and hit the head of a senior police officer who busied himself in efforts to disengage brawling protesters on the lower level of the bridge.
The officer who was a victim of the demonstration of the strange evil perpetrated by one of the defund the police protesters held his head with two hands as soon as the weaponized stick landed on his head. At the end of it all, two senior officers were in the photos that trended on the internet with blood flowing down their faces. This was the climax of the crime wave that began on weekend claiming the life of a one year old boy with a gun shot to the stomach.
Information spread early on Wednesday that a counter protest group had emerged from Brooklyn and Queens' boroughs following the increase in crime wave in the city and the killing of the innocent boy in Brooklyn against the defund the police protesters, unabated and continued violence, to foist increased police presence and keep the city safe.
The new protest group is reliably the work of some clergy. The new protest group reportedly think it is time to confront the evil that is seeking to destroy the city and making life unsafe not only on the street, but also in the neighborhoods and homes. Aside from the one year old boy killed at the weekend, a six year old girl was reported to have watched his father shot as they navigated a street in the Bronx borough. The reason the counter protest group seeks the restoration of the anti-crime unit of the NYPD.
On Wednesday too, there was an interview of a man who found three bullets that he said almost hit his daughter on her bed in his house in Brooklyn. He explained how the bullets made three holes on the part of the house on their ways to near the daughter's bed, showing the current image in New York is one of worry and how to stop the rampage, the lawlessness and the enveloping uncertainty caused by systemic pushing of the police away from the street, leading to criminals having field days without stout challenge from law enforcement.
Analysts have begun comparing New York City to Chicago, where 13 lives were lost to crime wave this past weekend. Many observers approve of the emergence of the counter protest group and that by seeking peace, restoration of law and order in support of the police, they are helping to navigate a way to extinguish the darkness seemingly enveloping the city.
Observers have not expressed shock to see the new protest group carrying a placard displaying the NYPD, the FNDY and the SDNY abbreviations. The NYPD stands for the New York Police Department. The FDNY stands for the Fire Department of New York. The SDNY stands for the Sanitation Department of New York.
The police keeps crime wave away from the neighborhoods. The fire department helps in quelling fire in the neighborhoods. And the sanitation department keeps the street and the environment clean. And that active policing helps to ensure death like that of a one year boy does not become a new normal in the city.
