Russia's threat, Biden's response, and fears of Armageddon

President Joseph Biden says that if Putin uses a chemical weapon against Ukrainians, the United States will respond is the talk of the town. Therefore media analysts say the president has not explained how the U.S. will react should Russians carry out the threat. Ordinary people on the street are saying it will be the coming of Armageddon with fears that the end time may be near.
The fears began with Russia saying it does not rule out the use of chemical weapons in Ukraine based on a Guardian's report and other news outlets. News reports of the U.S. intelligence confirming the possibility that Russia may resort to chemical weapons to achieve its ultimate aim has further fueled the worry arising over the conflict in Ukraine.
Biden's statement in Brussels to respond if Russia uses a chemical weapon has heightened public concern, Washington Post reports. People remember the scenario during the Syrian war when President Barack Obama drew a red line that if Assad used chemical weapons against his people, the U.S. would react. But the U.S. did nothing until President Donald Trump came into office and showed the Syrians America's power with a reprisal following another use of chemical weapons.
President Biden was the vice president in Obama's administration. People are saying President Biden may follow the same script of the Obama administration. Meaning he will do nothing powerful enough to warrant Russia's use of nuclear weapons. Suppose we are to follow the example of President Obama and Biden's administration during Assad's war. Curious observers say Biden may add to the U.S. sanctions against Russia.
Some people are bold in saying that Biden belongs to the anti-war group in the U.S. and that he will not play into the hands of war-mongers who want the U.S. to intervene in the Ukraine war beyond expectation with the midterm election a few months away. They cite the example of how the Biden administration has refused to accept Poland sending jets to the U.S. base in Germany for onward transmission to the Ukrainians to avoid Russians' wrath to prove their point.
Biden's supporters are saying the Republican Party's analysts want the U.S. to help Ukraine by showcasing the country's military might against Russia. But that Biden's administration is cautious because the Democrats do not want a war they cannot defend before the American electorate in the coming elections. Biden's performance will become an election issue, and Democrats are saying they are not war-mongers.
Some Democratic Party presidential candidates disassociated themselves from the Iraq war, and those who supported the war explained their reason to justify the request for voters' support. It will happen again over the Ukraine war. Republicans have already begun tagging Biden as weak and allowing Putin to go away with the murder of women and children. Biden's camp has responded he is providing instruments of war, money, and sanctions against Russia to enable Ukraine defeat Russia but will not do anything to cause a more significant conflict.
However, the president's statement that if Russia uses chemical weapons, he will respond, uncertainty hangs in the air. No one is certain about what could happen if Putin decides to do the unexpected against humanity. As a result, fears arise believing any attack on Russia by the U.S. for any reason may lead to Armageddon.
