Some Chibok Girls No Longer Want To Return
May 9 2017 By Abiodun Giwa
The freedom gained by 82 Chibok girls has opened a controversy about some Chibok girls who no longer want to return to Nigeria, according to a news report by the Punch, published in Nigeria. And some parents who don't agree with such information are against the government allowing or accepting such information as credible.
They rather would see the girls freed with the use of force. The government is being advised not to accept the information that some of the girls kidnapped by Boko Haram in 2014 no longer want to return.
And that it will seem like the government is working to use the information to abandon the search for the remaining girls.
Manifestly, the government has not expressed tiredness in the search for the kidnapped girls. The problem, seems, from the available information about how the freed among the girls have been secured, Boko Haram is using gradual release of the girls to secure the release of their members in prison custody in Nigeria.
A sort of prisoner swap. About six Boko Haram members in Nigerian prisons were said to have been released to effect the release of the latest 82 freed among Chibok girls.
