They slit her throat for no reason

“She is innocent; she didn’t do anybody any harm. She uses just her megaphone and bible; just preaching. They just killed her like a chicken and left her there, Nigeria Vanguard Newspaper reports”
This is the testimony of a 15 years old daughter of a preacher, Eunice Olawale, who has been found dead in Abuja, Nigeria, with her throat slit and her head resting on a bible, which she has used in preaching the words of God.
The anguish on the face of Pastor Olawale Elisha, husband to Eunice, tells the story of pain that has been forced into his home about his wife's death and the manner of the woman's death.
Jessica Olawale, the 15-year-old daughter of the slain preacher, and a Senior Secondary School 2 student, said: “Everybody is just saying it is well, nobody can understand how I feel," said in a response to statement of condolence by members of the family's church to calm nerves.
What she is saying in reality is that It certainly cannot be well in a situation, where a woman goes out to preach the words of God and she is found dead with her throat slit. Who could have chosen to kill another person in that manner could have been the person's crime to merit being killed in that manner?
Although, the Nigeria Police is reportedly investigating how and why Eunice may have fallen victim to murder on Saturday between 05:00 and 05:30 am and near her home, no reason has been given as to why anyone sane person could have done it, despite the report that the police say they have made some arrests in connection to the dastard murder.
The report quoted Eunice's husband, Pastor Elisha, that Eunice's preaching time is usually one hour, between 05:00 and 06:00 am, time, with a bible and megaphone, calling people to repentance and to turn to God. Instead of returning home to her family at 06:00 am on Saturday, it was her lifeless body that the husband met in a police van after a frantic search that took him and the children to the police station.
Eunice and her husband are pastors in the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, one of the most popular Churches in Nigeria, the same Church, where the country's vice president and his wife are pastors.
