Uhuru Kenyatta, Compliant Opposition and U.S Media Polls

Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta prefers a compliant opposition according to a report published by Daily Nation's newspapers, and the report says the president is having his way. Observers say it is unnatural in a democracy for the opposition to be silent about the incumbent's programs, and that every leader would wish to have a compliant opposition, but cases in many countries around the world show a different dimension.
The current battle on the streets of the United States does not show a compliant opposition, though the matter that has led to the current protests is essentially a matter that requires the cooperation of the two parties for a lasting solution. This is what the public process teaches.
The opposition party and its media have weaponized the development against the sitting president, because they say the police is brutal, systematically racist and that the president has not condemned the police like they have done,and that the president had said one thing or that he has not done some certain things.
Given that each state has a police controlled by the governor and each city a police under the mayor, and that the existing police outdated the term of the current president, does it mean that all past presidents and not just the current one is guilty of the opposition and their media's accusations and condemnations?
The danger in the current political situation in the United States, a country that has always tend to sell democracy to other countries is the act of stereotyping every thing under the sun to score political points. The police is bad because one police officer or a crop of police officers are bad, and therefor all past and current good acts of police officers are forgotten. And because of their hate of President Donald Trump, the Democrats and their media don't think that Trump supporters have got brains.The matter is better represented by how maria Bartiromo puts it on Fox News on Sunday when he said the police are hiding because the society seems have suddenly turned against them. Apparently, it is not only the police that are hiding, many among Trump supporters also are hiding.
In the middle of the confusion, the same liberal media called the main media by other media outlets are releasing polls showing Joe Biden leading Trump by double digits or more than double digits. The poll results have led to questions about whether they can or should be believed. Democrats are happy about the polls, while the Republicans are saying the polls cannot or should not be taken seriously. Even a famed Democrat strategist and a Democrat in the Congress have said the polls cannot be taken for what they are showing, and that the Biden Campaign Organization should not relent on hard work towards the November election.
The poll results is more troubling for the Trump Campaign Organization. The same media is all over town saying that Biden is leading in the polls and meaning Trump will lose reelection. Trump surrogates have tried to present the matter in comparison to the 2016 Hillary Clinton lead in the polls. What they don't seem to factor into their know explanation is the media stereotype of Trump's supporters as either raciss or lacking patriotism or worse description. This raises a question how the media want or think those supporters will present themselves for polling?
Yet, Biden is still hiding in the basement. Many commentators are asking for how long would Biden rely on luck and not work to push his election? Another question people are asking about the polls is how do the media expect Trump supporters who are voters submit to media polls when they know they are not thought to be humans by the same media? Secondly, they ask how do you present one sided media polls result as presenting the view or position of all American voters? .
Frank Luntz, a pollster, tried to convince viewers on Fox News on Sunday touting his several years experience as a pollster to convince the world about what Trump is supposed to be doing that he is not doing, and what he is supposed to be saying that he is not saying. However, Luntz has not said what happens to a poll result in which majority of the incumbent president supporters may have been excluded as a result of the stereotype that has gained currency in the polity and such supporter/voters will be getting ready to vote anyway?
There is fear in the minds of people in America. The fear of protests that have turned to looting and destruction and one that has spread to destruction of Statues. The fear of the media calling you a horrible name because of your support for a candidate different from the candidate of the owners of their respective medium. The development is more troubling for President Trump who may find it difficult to believe or not believe the poll, unless he has an inside poll that will give the peace of mind not to believe the polls that out there.
There is fear that when there is no more statues to destroy, when they see the other candidate's is still strong and invisible, they may turn to people with different political views. How would anyone expect a balanced media poll in the circumstance? It is not that Kenyatta wants a listless opposition, but an opposition that will cooperate with the incumbent and help to lift up the country and not destroy the country its political interests and not for the love of the people.
