"We will burn down the system and replace it"- BLM Leader
June 25 2020 By Abiodun Giwa

Those who have been saying that the protests in the United States are peaceful have been proved wrong by a leader of Black Lives Matter's statement on Tuesday in a television interview that the organization intends to burn the system down and replace it if their demands are not met.
In another torny development, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was reported to have said that the GOP wanted to get away with George Floyds murder. Some members of the Republican Party have asked the speaker for an apology for her statement.
Pelosi said that she would not apologize for her statement when interviewed on the MSNBC on Tuesday. She said further that the GOP lawmakers and President Donald Trump have not done enough towards addressing the issue. Members of the Republican Party see the speaker's statement as an effort to weaponize Floyds murder against Trump and the GOP.
Secondly, statements both by the BLM leader's and Speaker's Pelosi have sparked a new debate about whether protests be destructive, and who is responsible for the Floyds murder. Pelosi's statement It is being translated by many people as holding the Republican Party responsible for Floyds murder. Republican Party members are saying they are not and the Democratic Party is responsible with emphasis on facts that Minnesota is a Democratic Party controlled state and Minneapolis a Democratic Party controlled city.
To buttress their argument, the Republican Party's apologists are saying that the governor of a state and the mayor of a city are responsible for security in their domains. They say it is the reason there is a state police and city police controlled by the state and the city respectively, and that it is when the governor or mayor seeks the federal assistance in times of security upheaval that the president can step in.
The mayors are powerful in their cities and the governors in their states based on the provision of the Constitution. The world sees clearly how Governor Andrew Cuomo and Mayor Bill De Blasio acts in exercising their powers in New York; the world has seen how the mayor of Washington, Muriel Bowser, has exercised authority over the protest around the White House and the world has seen how Seattle's Mayor Jenny Durkan has handled the declaration of an autonomous area in Seattle.
In all the cases above, President Donald Trump had told the governors and mayors to act to use their powers to stem the tide of looting and destruction, and that if they required assistance he was ready to give it. Now, following destruction of statues across the country and burning of flags, many Americans are saying it is time that the president should act to stamp out disorderliness from Americans cities to restore order, because they are saying what is being witnessed on the streets are no longer protests but deliberate acts of destruction of public properties.
It has suddenly damned on those who have argued in support of peaceful protest in the country that the lootings and destruction in some American cities may have been part of a plan to burn down the system watching the BLM leader on television talking about the organization's intention.
The entire people around the world who have access to video and news sources such as television and videos showing how a police officer puts his kneel on Floyds neck and has died as a result, and there is no prove the killing has been ordered or carried out by either the Democratic Party or the Republican Party.
The police officer who knelt on Floyds neck and his assistants on the unfortunate evening have been arrested and all have been arraigned in a court of law. Efforts are also being made to reform police operations. Apparently, lawmakers in the Congress are disagreeing on the way to go about achieving a bipartisan reform.
Some lawmakers want the police defunded or disbanded. Some others think the police can be reformed but not render it almost ,ineffective against doing its job and that erring officers can be punished for acts unbecoming of police against the stereotype that all officers are bad..
