Whoopi Goldberg and the case of two Michaels

Has she returned to the VIEW after two weeks of suspension? You know the personality referenced here. She is no other than Whoopi Goldberg, whose mix-up of the cause of the Holocaust or what the historical event represents has led to public debate about the depth of knowledge of those who enlighten others.
The answer to the question is that Goldberg has not completed her suspension. She is not back on the View. Anyway, she might be back any time after the period of her suspension. Her case clearly shows no one is above mistake and punishment.
The punishment from the View managers is the public ridicule of not understanding that the Holocaust is about race and not "man's inhumanity to man," as asserted by Goldberg. It would remain in the mind of people for a long time.
No one can deny Goldberg's strong presence and personality on the View. People applaud her for reversing her position on the Holocaust and turning it into a learning experience. Others say her crime was not as evil as others, like the former Governor Andrew Cuomo of New York State, Chris Cuomo of CNN, Jeff Zucker of CNN, and Michael Avenatti, a lawyer who has become a convict.
People see Avenatti's case as a fall requiring real struggle to return to earlier public applause, unlike others who have resigned their positions arising from ethical issues that needed the individual's alertness and to be above board. A reminder of characters in Williams Shakespeare's comedy in the "Twelve Nights" about people descending into a level of vegetation, to use the words of David Newell.
