World Cup: US Romps into Second Round

The United States Soccer team has rolled into the second round of the 2014 World Cup, despite its loss to Germany 0-1 in a Group G match played on Thursday. The US is second in the group's table, beating Portugal with which it has same 4 points on goals aggregate.
The US had a fantastic outing against Germany. The team was seeing playing positioning soccer and held the German. Machine team to first half goalless draw. But the machine team was hungry for goals. Thus on emerging in the second half, they worked hard and got it. The US missed a manifest chance for an equalizer.
The team gave the German team a tough match and only missed creating an upset by a miracle goal for Germany. It is no longer uncertain that the US team may go far in the 2014 tournament judging with be the outcome of today's world cup match between the United States and Germany.
The US performance against Germany is seen as awesome, and beginning of a redraw of soccer aficionados' map of soccer loving nations.
