Zindzi Mandela: A victim of Covid-19

The Mandela family said that Zindzi Mandela tested positive for Covid-19 before her hospitalization and eventual death at a Johannesburg hospital on Monday, news reports have revealed. When Zindzi died on Monday, virtually all the news reports of her passage were silent on the cause of death, following an earlier statement released by President Cyril Ramaphosa.
But news reports of her burial on Friday shows lines revealing a family's statement that Zindzi tested positive to Covid-19 before her hospitalization. President Ramaphosa expressed appreciation to the family for the very important gesture with the nation of sharing the information, Al-Jazeera reported.
