Kenya's former President Arap Moi, who ruled the country between 1978 and 2002, died last Tuesday at the of 95, was accorded a state burial in Nairobi on Tuesday, amid praises and criticism.
Moi was praised for the education program he delivered to Kenyans and condemned for breathing the throats of opposition after a coup against his government. .
The BBC reported that about 30,000 Kenyans attended the state funeral in traditional regalia.
